ASL intro for Managers

Workshop by: Kees Deurloo (ASL Foundation/Pink Roccade)

ASL (application service library) offers a framework for application management that is based on the best practises of professionals with years of experience. The model is developed in such a way that it guarantees the optimal ICT support for business processes. In this way you can concentrate on the business core. ASL limits itself to the giving of guidelines for the organising of processes, leaving the organising of the business. By doing this, the framework is generally applicable within ICT services, independent to the size of your organisation.

ASL, what it can mean to you

As many (vital) business processes nowadays are no longer supported but are enabled by information systems. It is hard to keep optimal control over your applications and that’s why application management is essential.
Implementing (parts of) ASL (Application Services Library) in your organisation can be one of the means to gain that control.
In the hands-on workshop the following items will be addressed:
- What is ASL?
- Why ASL?
- The framework of ASL processes
- The benefits of ASL
- How will ASL affect the client organisation
- How to implement ASL
