ISPL intro for Managers

Workshop by: Alfred Helmerich (FAST) - English, Marcel Franckson (SEMA) - French

The practice of subcontracting IT services is becoming enormously popular. More and more often businesses are faced with the decision whether to undertake their IT activities themselves or to subcontract them to third parties.

The Information Services Procurement Library (ISPL) is a practical approach to the subcontracting and acquisition of IT services (in the broadest sense). It examines the set up of the acquisition process, the role of the delivery plan, and the assessment of alternatives, risks, and countermeasures. ISPL shows how this can be articulated in a contract and how the terms of this contract can be carried out, checked, and managed.
