During the ITIL-Foundations training the participant will learn the principles of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). The Control-IT simulation which is part of the training will give the participants insight and awareness.

At the end of the course the participant:
- will understand how the various processes can con tribute to making an IT organization manageable
- will understand control processes and apply them in his organization
- can identify the bottlenecks in control processes and initiate improvement actions
- can put theory into practice
- is able to determine which change processes will be necessary to successfully implement ITIL
- is able to recognize and understand the key concepts of ITIL and relate them to the relevant control

Control-IT Simulation (additional)
For many years control processes have existed in organizations but have received little recognition within the IT environment. Only a few of the control processes which are in place in other business sectors have been applied to IT organizations. Using a business management simulation the problem areas and issues surrounding service management and ITIL are thoroughly dealt with. This course is highly competitive as several teams play against each other, an alternate way of learning how to deal with ITIL and control processes.

Start Monday 10 March 2003, 9.00H, Duration 2 days. This course will prepare you for the ITIL Foundation Certificate. Max 3 x 16 participants. English/French/Dutch

2. ITIL Foundation itSM Essentials (Online)

This course will be provided by Quint Academy as part of the workshop programme through an e-learning course in January and February.The language will be English. The training course leads to the EXIN Foundations certificate in IT Service Management Essentials. Upon completion of the course, it is possible to follow this Examination during the event. (in English, online). During the event participants can be supported through a one-day instructor-led training (blended solution).

Start Tuesday 10 March 2003, 14.00H, Duration 1/2 day. This course will prepare you for the ITIL Foundation Certificate. Max. 50 participants
